I am so excited to introduce you all to this lovely high school senior from Rocky Mountain High School!  Devon Miller is a stellar student and a multi-talented musician.  She plays the oboe in Rocky's band but also plays piano and will be a percussionist for the Homecoming halftime show.  In addition to music, Devon is passionate about helping others which makes her a great asset to RMHS's PEER Counseling program.  Devon is also an active member of the Key Club, Peace Club and participates in theatre.  Whew! this is one busy student!

Did I mention that Devon also loves to swing dance?  We actually started her Senior Portrait Session at the Old Town location where Devon has spent evenings kicking up her heels. Then, we wandered Old Town for a bit - where Devon played one of the outdoor pianos - before heading to a natural area on the south side of Fort Collins.  Devon was clearly at home among the trees, grasses and flowers of Colorado.  The light was perfect for showing off the sparkle in her eyes.  As I was shooting, I just kept thinking....pretty, pretty, pretty.  Here are some of the photos from her session-

Mackenzie Thompson is a 2013 Senior at Rocky Mountain High School.  She is also one of my 2013 Senior Reps and I couldn't wait to do her Senior Portrait Session!  This girl has the most lovely sense of humor so I knew she would be a ton of fun during the photo shoot.  Mac had chosen the Stylish Session so we began with a make up application by Sara Haiar of Mac Cosmetics.  Sara does an amazing job of applying make up that looks natural on camera and makes the eyes pop without looking "made up".  You will notice Mac's beautiful big, brown eyes in all the photos.

I truly love photographing high school seniors.  Their energy, excitement and focus on the future inspires me!  If you are a 2013 High School Senior, contact me now to book your Senior Session before those Fall yearbook deadlines arrive.  Call 970-682-4206 or email me at cindy@cindyshortphotography.com

I am so excited to have Danny Clark as a member of the 2013 Senior Reps for Cindy Short Photography!  Danny is a Senior at Rocky Mountain High School where he is an important part of the wrestling team.  After school, you will find Danny playing guitar in Faith Evangelical Free Church's Youth Band. Or you might run into this busy guy through one of the many other activities he takes part in which include the Larimer County Sheriff's Explorer Program, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FUSE.  Throughout all of this activity, Danny is known for always having a smile on his face.  And when we met in Old Town Fort Collins for the 2013 Senior Rep mini shoot back in April, Danny made my job easy with his easy going personality and natural smile.  But I also love the few moments when I caught a more serious side to his personality.  As you can see in the photos below, Danny totally rocked this session! Can you imagine how great his full Senior Session is going to be?  I can't wait!
