What's the difference between a college senior portrait session and a high school senior portrait session?  Well, for one thing you are not the same person who was in that high school yearbook photo!  The years after high school are when you define your style, develop your passions and learn to think independently.  What a perfect time to document who you have become!

Along with graduation from college comes job interviews.  Today, social media plays an important role in the process with Facebook considered by many employers to be the "first interview."  So, you will need to replace that photo of you at your best friend's 21st birthday with a nice, professional headshot.  That is where we began Emilie's college senior portrait session.  After professional make up application to showcase Emilie's gorgeousness on camera, we took some headshots.  And, you know how obsessed I am with eyelashes, so I had to include one image of her looking down!

Then we headed to a natural area in Fort Collins to capture Emilie's love for the outdoors.  As an out-of-state student, Emilie's college experience has included developing a love for Colorado's blue sky, hiking trails and mountains.

We ended our session on the Colorado State University campus where Emilie participated in commencent ceremonies last weekend.  Isn't she just stunning?!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Emilie during her four years here at CSU and watching her grow to an intelligent, strong, compassionate leader on campus.  I hope these images will remind Emilie of her college experience as she begins life in the "real world".
